Nirvan Shah (The Founder)
A prominent sports figure in Mumbai’s football community since 2003. He is both a businessman and sportsman and has been instrumental in developing football in India from grass-root level. He is most likely the first individual in India to become a licensed UEFA football coach. He obtained his B.Tech in Business and Finance from London, UK.
In addition to coaching PIFA Colaba FC, his career has included successfully coaching Kickbutt FC and several prestigious school teams such as Campion School, Bombay International School and NSS Hill Spring International. He has won these teams both titles and division promotions.
His professional qualifications include:
< font-family: Verdana; margin: 0px;">Since 2006, he has managed and coached the PIFA Colaba FC team. The team was promoted from Senior to Super to Elite Division of the Mumbai Football League (MDFA) in the very first season. The team now plays the Elite MDFA League and in 2011 qualified to play in the AIFF I-League 2nd Division as well as finished 3rd in the Mumbai Elite League. The team is also the runners up of the Nadkarni Cup 2011.
< font-family: Verdana; margin: 0px;">In 2008-2009, he coached the Maharashtra State U-14 Girls team that won runners up at the AIFF National Football Festival in Chennai and the Maharashtra State DSO U-14 boys team that secured 3rd position in the 54th National School Games held in Mumbai.
< font-family: Verdana; margin: 0px;">He was appointed National Selector by the Sports Ministry, Government of Maharashtra.
